What is CertMS?
CertMS is a Certificate Management System that monitors your environment and keeps track of all your certificates. CertMS will tell you what certificates are going to expire and where those certificates live in your environment.
Does CertMS run as an appliance or in the cloud?
Both! CertMS is currently deployed as an appliance within your environment. CertMS cloud is in the works and will be coming very soon.
Does CertMS handle CSRs and Certificate Issuing?
CertMS is meant to be a passive Certificate Management and monitoring system. This means that CertMS does not get involved directly with your PKI environment, only monitors your PKI environment. However CertMS does support generating a CSR meant for the Web Interface of the CertMS appliance.

Can CertMS automatically renew certificates?
CertMS does not automatically renew certificates. But with its API you can easily determine which certificates are going to expire and use other automation to renew them (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
